Driven by the requirements to have low cost, rapidly deployable and robust anchoring solutions to support the needs of the marine energy sector, Swift Anchors™ and Sustainable Marine have developed solutions for offshore environments across a wide range of seabed types including rock, overburden and soft sediments.
The solutions offered by Swift Anchors can be deployed in harsh locations quickly, often to enable installation during a short slack tidal period into a range of seabed conditions, from compacted sand to tough basalt, the latter using its patented rock anchor technology.
To install our anchors, a suite of tools including our Anchoring Remote Operated Vehicles (A-ROVs) have been developed in house to pair directly with our anchors.
We can provide comprehensive certified anchor solutions with a range of services that includes site surveys (bathymetry, sub-bottom profiling etc), geotechnical site investigations, geotechnical assessments, anchor and mooring design, installation methods and ultimately anchor and mooring supply, installation and post installation remote inspection and maintenance.

Competitive Advantages of Swift Anchors™ Groutless Rock Anchors
01.
Swift Anchors’ solutions have much lower logistical costs compared to traditional gravity and other anchor foundations.
02.
Anchors can be installed in a single slack water in fast tidal speed locations (typically 20-25 minutes to drilled into Basalt).
03.
High strength rock anchors for scoured rock seabed’s where traditional embedment anchors will not work, thereby opening up these geotechnically challenging sites for commercial use.
04.
Rock anchors can take vertical as well as horizontal loading. Pretensioned and designed to take cyclical loading.
05.
An anchor equivalent to 100’s of tonnes of deadweight can be installed from a Multi-cat – much lower cost and carbon footprint than gravity anchors.
06.
Low environmental impact, minimal seabed disturbance and very quiet installation. (No requirement for listing on the UK Marine Noise Registry).
